Do you have a hidden disability but wish to travel independently through the Airport?

Belfast International Airport understands that travelling through an airport can be stressful and for those passengers with hidden disabilities, the airport journey can prove to be particularly challenging.

If you or someone you are travelling with have a Hidden Disability and feel you may need additional support as you travel independently through the Airport, we will be happy to provide you with a lanyard which will discreetly identify you to Airport staff as someone potentially requiring additional support.

Please note that the lanyard does not permit fast track through Security or Passport Control but is designed to alert staff that you may need some additional assistance or that you have a hidden disability so that we can guide you through the process as smoothly as possible.

If you are travelling as part of a large group, only essential family or an assistant should  accompany the sunflower lanyard user through the Accessible Route at Check In, Security or Passport Control.

Familiarisation visits, prior to travel, will be considered on request. For further information please email [email protected].
