Multi Agency exercise taking place on 20th November 2022
Belfast International Airport will be holding an airport training exercise on Sunday 20th November 2022 between 10am – 3pm to practice our emergency response.
The exercise will be carried out in areas of our airfield and within the terminal and allow the airport’s teams and partners to practice and plan for an incident.
Partners involved include the emergency services, airlines and ground handling partners.
Passengers may see an increase in activity and a significant number of emergency vehicles and personnel as part of the exercise but there is no need for members of the public to be alarmed.
A certain area within the terminal will be used and cordoned off to the public and airport staff will be in place to allay any concerns raised by passengers.
