easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, will welcome 74,000 passengers onto its flights to and from Belfast over the Easter holidays (18 – 22 April) in what is set to be the busiest Easter getaway in the airline’s history.
Numbers will peak on Good Friday when 17,000 passengers are expected to fly on 116 flights, with customers travelling early to avoid the last minute Easter weekend rush.
In the UK alone, 150,000 passengers will fly to or from easyJet’s UK airports on almost 1,000 flights on Good Friday toppling the record for the most passengers travelling with the airline on one day during the Easter period.
Customers can still get some great deals, with great value fares from Bristol still available from just £49.34.*
Neil Slaven, UK Country Director, easyJet said:
“Easter is always one of the busiest travel periods and this year will be no exception, demonstrating that our customers continue to book with confidence, in record numbers.
“From Belfast, the period between 18th and 22nd April will see more people than ever before flying either home or on holiday with us in what will be our busiest Easter ever. “Whether customers are flying to visit friends and family or incorporating skiing into their Easter breaks this year, we will be working hard to make our customer’s Easter travel as easy and of course, as affordable as possible.
“easyJet is well positioned to seamlessly connect Europe with the warmest welcome in the sky."
