Belfast International Airport Job Fair aiming to fill over 125 new jobs

1 Mar 2018

Last week our fifth Job Fair took place at the Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey. The airport and seven airport-based companies, aiming to fill more than 125 jobs, attended the event and spoke to prospective employees about the various positions available.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council, Cllr Paul Hamill, attended the event which attracted hundreds of people.

Passenger growth which saw over 5.8 million passengers travel through the airport last year is behind the latest recruitment drive.

Jaclyn Coulter, Head of HR at Belfast International Airport, said: “ The Job Fair was a great success. Last year was the airport’s busiest year and, as it gets busier, more jobs are created. These jobs will bring an extra £2 million into the Northern Ireland economy.

“If anyone wasn’t able to attend the Job Fair, they should check out the airport vacancies on our website by clicking here and NIjobs for other vacancies.
