easyJet, Europe’s leading airline, is helping people across the UK to overcome their phobias of flying in time for the summer holidays. On 17th February 2018, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer course will be taking place in Belfast.
Over 6000 people have attended the course since it launched in 2012. More than 95% of those people have overcome their phobias, and now have the freedom to fly across the world. During the ground course section, phobia expert
Lawrence Leyton teaches attendees proven mind techniques to control their nerves and he is joined by a senior easyJet pilot who will explain the sounds and sensations experienced onboard a flight. Attendees can then put their new skills and knowledge into practise on a one hour flight featuring full in-flight commentary.
Brian Craig, previous Belfast course attendee, said: “I finally took my wife on our dream honeymoon. We went to New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. It was 5 flights within the space of 2 weeks. “Never thought I would ever see America or be able to do so many flights, but thanks to this amazing course I was able to overcome my biggest fear, FLYING, and I even enjoyed the flights. We were even seated separately for one of the flights and it was fine. “Before this course I would never have been able to do this. Thank you so much for all your help.”
Mark Wein, easyJet’s Fearless Flyer Course Director, said: “We’re really pleased to be returning to Belfast with our Fearless Flyer course to help passengers in the region conquer their fear, particularly just before the summer period so people can fly to some fantastic destinations for their summer holidays. “Our course has been a phenomenal success throughout the UK over the past few years, with in excess of 95% of participants taking to the skies fearlessly following the course. “The course is always really emotional with an amazing atmosphere and there are lots of smiles and tears of joy as people learn to fly fearlessly – some for the first time in their lives.”
easyJet's Fearless Flyer course is one of the best priced aerophobia courses in the UK at just £199. Participants can also invite a companion with them on the flight if they wish for just £80.
