540 jobs and £160M investment in south Antrim boost
Belfast International's Managing Director, Graham Keddie today welcomed the news that south Antrim based global medical manufacturing company, Randox, is creating 540 new jobs and redeveloping the former Massereene army base into a manufacturing and research facility.
Mr Keddie said: “This investment of over £160M is a powerful vote of confidence. In an area which has suffered greatly from industry closures, this investment by one of our local companies, Randox, is both significant and exciting.
Belfast International Airport is delighted to see new jobs and investment plans which will make south Antrim and, indeed Northern Ireland as a whole, a much more attractive proposition for inward investment in the pharmaceutical field.
Randox is a ground breaking, innovative and home grown success story and we are delighted to see it develop to this next and most exciting phase of its operation.”
