It was another busy Friday at Belfast International. Some passengers were family groups taking advantage of the school mid-term break by setting off to Euro Disney in Paris with easyJet.
However, there was a distinct air of romance about the airport in anticipation of St Valentine’s Day.
At check-in customers were greeted with heart shaped balloons and pastries at Café Ritazza.
Once airside, the Valentine theme continued with Tamlyn and Lyndsey at The Strangford Bar & Grill tempting passengers with Red Velvet cake, Cookies & Cream and a variation of red and pink tray bakes.
Given the weekend it is, a number of couples had decided to spend that special day with the one they loved.
One such couple travelling away for a romantic weekend were Niamh Crozier from Ballymaguigan, Magherafelt and Miran Neeson, from Randalstown. The pair were booked on an easyJet flight to Edinburgh and they were looking forward to their break.
We hope Niamh and Miran have a great weekend and an especially romantic St Valentine’s Day!
