United Airlines was named Best North American Airline at the Business Traveller Magazine Awards 2012.
The awards, which are based on votes by U.K. readers of Business Traveller magazine, were presented at a ceremony on Sep. 17 at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington, London.
“We’re delighted to win this recognition from frequent business travellers,” said Bob Schumacher, United’s Managing Director Sales – U.K. & Ireland, who accepted the award. “It’s a great encouragement as we continue in our efforts together to create the world’s leading airline.”
United operates up to 25 services a day from the UK to six of its U.S. hubs. From London/Heathrow, the airline serves Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York/Newark, San Francisco and Washington/Dulles. United also serves New York/Newark from Belfast, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Manchester, and Washington/Dulles from Manchester.
