Belfast International Airport played host to a party of chartered accountants and their partners who were flying to Edinburgh to attend their annual conference.
The airport held a reception for the group of seventy-five before they boarded their easyJet flight for the Scottish capital.
Fergal McCann, Chairman Institute of Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, thanked the airport for its hospitality and said how impressed he was with the re-furbished Terminal.
For the airport, Alan Whiteside, Operations Director, welcomed the Society and expressed the hope that they would have a good conference.
Mr Whiteside said later: “Belfast International Airport is the main business airport in Northern Ireland, so it was a natural extension to host such a respected professional body and to let members see for themselves what we offer and how we satisfy customer needs.
“Individuals were impressed with our Exec Direct service and the facilities in general. Tracey Robson of SSP did a wonderful job with the food and treats and ensured our guests had a good start to their weekend. All in all, a very enjoyable send-off!”.
