easyJet, Northern Ireland’s largest airline, has today put on sale two new routes from Belfast International Airport to Bordeaux and Jersey.

The new flights launch on 28 June 2014 and operate throughout the summer using a 156 seater Airbus A319. They are available to book now at

  • Flights to Jersey in the Channel Islands will operate twice per week with fares starting from £27.49 per person
  • Flights to Bordeaux in France will operate weekly with fares starting from £29.49 per person

easyJet expects to fly thousands of holidaymakers and business travellers to and from the new destinations next summer to help deliver a further boost to the Northern Ireland economy.

Ali Gayward, easyJet’s Head of Northern Ireland, said: “We’re pleased to put on sale two exciting, new destinations to Belfast International Airport today and believe they will be popular additions to the network.

“The beautiful French city of Bordeaux boasts world class food and drink and superb neo classical architecture, while Jersey as the warmest place in the British Isles is perfect for a relaxing beach break with hundreds of years of history. The introduction of additional low cost seats will also help to boost tourism to Belfast providing options for people visiting on short or long breaks."

John Doran, Managing Director of Belfast International Airport, commented: "We strongly welcome this further expansion of easyJet's already-extensive network from Belfast International Airport. These two new routes provide further important choice to the Northern Ireland market as we strive to maximise opportunities for air travellers to fly with ease to key domestic and international destinations from their local international airport."
