Belfast International Airport helps out NI Hospice

Published: 29 July 2008

Angela Davison from NI Hospice accepts a cheque for £1,150 from Belfast International Airport's HR Manager Jaclyn Coulter.

Jaclyn, who is a long term supporter of the NI hospice, said, "I regularly give to the hospice and raised some money by doing the hospice walk.  The airport's charity committee also donated money so I am delighted we are able to make a contribution to the valuable work that the hospice do in the local community."

Angela Davison, Regional Fundraiser for the NI Hospice said, "On behalf of the hospice, I would like to thank Jaclyn and the Charity Committee at Belfast International for donating this substantial amount to us.  Under the current financial climate, funds are increasingly difficult to find and with costs continuing to rise, we are relying more and more on voluntary donations such as this to maintain our vital services.  The money raised will go to where it is most needed caring for life limited adults, children and young people both in hospice and in their own homes."
