easyJet increases flights to Amsterdam and Geneva

easyJet is to add extra flights to its Amsterdam and Geneva routes from Belfast International Airport.
There will be 6 more flights each week to Amsterdam, bringing the total to 20 – and 2 additional flights to Geneva will increase the weekly total to 14.
The extra flights to Amsterdam will increase from daily to 9 per week from 2 September (extra Monday and Friday), and increase to 10 flights per week with an additional Sunday flight added from 6 November, fares from £23.99, one way including taxes.
An extra Sunday flight to Geneva will start from 11 December with fares from £26.99, one way including taxes.
Ali Gayward, easyJet commercial manager, said: “The Belfast to Amsterdam route has been a great success since we launched it in January 2001.
“The city has always been a big attraction for business people and holidaymakers going on short breaks or longer stays, and there has also been significant business and tourism traffic from the Netherlands into Northern Ireland.
“Our Geneva service has always been a firm favourite with Northern Ireland skiers and snowboarders. Flight times are great, so people can travel in the morning and be skiing down the slopes in the afternoon.
“Around 40 ski centres are under an hour away from Geneva Airport, including popular resorts like Chamonix, Verbier, Val d'Isere, Les Arcs and Morzine.”
Earlier this week, easyJet announced that it is to introduce flights from Belfast International Airport to Southend – increasing its London routes to 4 and its total routes from the airport to 22.
The London Southend service will start on 2 April next year. Flights are now on sale with fares from £23.99 one-way including taxes.
There will be 2 flights daily from Monday – Friday; one flight on Saturday; and 2 flights on Sunday.
The introduction of the London Southend service will increase the number of easyJet return flights between Belfast International Airport and London to 146 flights each week.
